Formica introduces a high-impact, decorative fiberglass panel

Earlier this year, Formica Corporation introduced HardStop Decorative Protection Panels, a high-performance, impact resistant panel with a class A fire rating, to the commercial market. Unlike laminate that contains a paper core, HardStop panels feature a fiberglass core which gives it added durability and strength. It’s the ideal solution for areas that need extra protection from a demanding environment, while allowing design professionals to create interiors that reflect the latest trends.

HardStop can be bonded to a variety of substrates including particleboard, MDF, and AirPly ultralight core to create a REACT PRL panel. Component parts can then be made from the bonded panels for commercial applications such as interior doors, cabinet doors, wall panels, elevator panels, table tops, worksurfaces and more. It's an excellent solution for high traffic areas in industries including: Healthcare, Restaurant, Contract Furniture, Education, and Elevator.

In addition to its high impact resistance and class A fire rating, HardStop is scratch, stain, water resistant and easy to clean, making it ideal for high traffic areas that need to be maintained and cleaned regularly.
