CPA Joins Coalition Urging New U.S. Infrastructure Bill

CPA has joined a broad coalition of 150 associations and organizations by signing on to a letter urging the U.S. Congress to address the nation’s infrastructure issues. The letter, submitted February 7 to the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, asks the Committee to create bipartisan legislation that would significantly increase infrastructure investment, encourage better cooperation among all levels of government and between public and private sectors, fix shortages in the Highway Trust Fund, allow for private investment in U.S. infrastructure and expedite the federal permitting process, while continuing to provide environmental protections.
